On 12th June 2024 we visited Cresswell Pele Tower with Morpeth u3a as Associate members.

The weather was ideal for ambling round the gardens. Barry Mead gave his usual enthusiastic talk about the Tower and their excavation finds. His colleague took us around the gardens, my favourite bit.

They even have their own beehives, something I have wanted for many years. That and keeping goats would be a dream come true! Back to reality as I wouldn't have the time to spare with all the u3a activities I enjoy.
