We visited the Open Gardens scheme at Alnmouth Friary on 3rd August 2024. Getting parked was a bit hairy but we all managed to get there and enjoyed a lovely tea in the back garden overlooking Alnmouth bay.

I came away with some plants that had been donated by my local garden centre! All donations were for the HospiceCare in North Northumberland so well worth it.
Others came home with various crafts and gifts.

The weather was lovely, food homemade and people very friendly so we all enjoyed the visit.

The next one is in October at Blagdon Hall so that is now in my diary!
